The INSPIRE TEAM team participated in the European Researchers 2022 evening in Athens and presented to the public innovative vibration control concepts and cutting-edge technology designed to protect structures from strong movements. Young visitors flooded the INSPIRE booth and learned about the importance of seismic engineering and how new ideas can be shaped into devices suitable for real life applications! Once again INSPIRE had the pleasure of presenting its research achievements to the general public, as well as to groups of young teenagers and students, highlighting the initiative and extroversion of the National Technical University of Athens. The research group is a collaboration between the NTUA – Laboratory of Dynamics and Acoustics of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Laboratory of Static Analysis and Seismic Research of the Faculty of Civil Engineering & the Chair of Structural Engineering and Monitoring of ETH Zurich.
